For more than 30 years, I've worked across business management, staff development, education, supervision, counselling and arts therapy, helping people navigate growth, change and complex decisions.
Throughout those years, I noticed something surprising.
The people who moved forward weren't necessarily the smartest, the most experienced, or the hardest working.
They had simply learned how to reflect differently.

Why Reflective Growth Studio Exists
For years I watched thoughtful, capable professionals become trapped in the same cycle.
They researched.
They analysed.

I realised the problem wasn't overthinking.
The problem was relying on thinking alone.
That's why I created Reflective Growth Studio—
to teach a practical reflective process that helps people reconnect with clarity, confidence and purposeful action.

How REFLECTA Came To Life
My career has never followed a straight line.
Before becoming an Arts Therapist, I worked in business management, staff training, marketing and leadership development.
Later I founded Empowered Art Therapy, Kindred Art Space and online education programs, while also lecturing, supervising therapists and facilitating reflective learning.
Although these roles looked very different, I kept noticing the same pattern.
Whether I was working with executives, business owners, students, therapists or career professionals...
people rarely lacked ability.
They lacked a way of accessing their own clarity when life became uncertain.
Over time I realised every part of my career had been teaching the same lesson from a different angle.
Business taught me systems.
Education taught me how adults learn.
Facilitating Therapy taught me how people make meaning.
Creative practice taught me how insight emerges.
Eventually those pieces came together.
That became the REFLECTA Method™.
